The pattern reflects the traditional abrband (ikat resist-dyeing) technique, where threads are dyed prior to weaving to achieve the signature blurred effect.

The interior is fully lined in red printed cotton, accented by blue and white block-printed cuffs and neckband. The coat is also bordered with contrasting indigo trim, enhancing its dramatic silhouette.
