LAKAI TRIBAL VINTAGE EMBROIDERY PILLOW COVER

Hand-embroidered by the Lakai tribe of Uzbekistan, this extraordinary lumbar pillow repurposes a vintage textile panel once used in a Napramach, a traditional bedding bag. Spiraling rosettes bloom in vivid silk thread, layered in a lush palette of golden ochre, emerald, and berry against a sturdy cotton base—each motif echoing centuries-old symbolism of prosperity and protection.

The back features a cotton in alternating bands of ivory and muted olive-grey. Its soft surface catches the light with subtle texture, providing a beautifully understated contrast to the ornate front. Inserts sold separately.
