Regular price $340.00Using very soft and lightweight antique handwoven wool from Sivas Province in eastern Turkey, this piece draws from the traditional waistband cloths once worn by women in local village dress. Its finely spaced red and ivory checks are softened by age and use, offering texture, subtle color variation, and cultural richness.
The reverse is made from loosely woven cotton in a warm terracotta tone, accented with softly raised marigold-colored dots. The fabric has a slightly bulky, tactile quality that contrasts beautifully with the wool front, adding earthy texture and visual warmth to the composition.
