This striking pair of pillows is made from a vintage embroidered textile, likely of Afghan origin. Delicate motifs in vermilion, saffron, and emerald are stitched in silk across a soft cotton ground, forming a rhythmic, geometric composition that reflects regional folk traditions and exceptional handwork.

The backs are finished with vintage Japanese kimono cotton. The softly textured weave provides a gentle contrast to the ornate front, bringing balance and warmth. Inserts sold separately.

Our HANA Handwoven Pillow Cover is made of our HANA Handwoven fabric. Each pillow will be made in our studio in Istanbul after the order. The fabric will be cut to best compliment the pattern of the fabric, resulting in slight differences in the size.

The fabric pattern can vary due to the location of where the fabric is cut. The white blur lines sometimes found in the Ikat patterns are a natural result of the hand-dying process.
