A delicate symphony of silk threads and timeless craftsmanship.
These vintage pillow covers are made using exquisite hand embroidery from Shakhrisabz, a city celebrated for its masterful needlework. Each cover features repeating almond-shaped motifs intricately stitched in silk onto cotton canvas, creating a rhythmic pattern that echoes Central Asian textile traditions. The fabric dates to the late 20th century and remains in pristine, unused condition.
This is a set of 2 pillow covers, complemented by striped cotton backs in soft blues and greys.
Dimensions: 40 × 40 cm (16 × 16 in)
Recommended insert size: 40 × 40 cm (16 × 16 in) to 43 × 43 cm (17 × 17 in) for a full look. Inserts not included. We recommend the insert be slightly bigger than the cover for a full look. You can also order the pillow inserts from us using the "Contact Us" feature below. Our custom-size pillow inserts will take approximately 2 weeks to ship.

The fabric pattern can vary due to the location of where the fabric is cut. The white blur lines sometimes found in the Ikat patterns are a natural result of the hand-dying process.

Our SIMA Handwoven Pillow Cover is made of our SIMA Handwoven fabric. Each pillow will be made in our studio in Istanbul after the order. The fabric will be cut to best compliment the pattern of the fabric, resulting in slight differences in size.
