Regular price $575.00A one-of-a-kind decorative pillow cover made from vintage Persian Rasht embroidery, a technique known for its intricate silk needlework on felted wool ground. This particular piece features vivid floral and paisley motifs executed in silk thread, firmly stitched onto a durable flannel-like wool base. The edges are finished with a vintage Turkmen trim, framing the embroidery with added historic texture.
The back is crafted from vintage Japanese kimono fabric with vertical stripes in warm, earthy tones, adding a striking contrast to the ornate front. Carefully assembled to preserve and celebrate traditional craftsmanship from multiple regions. Bottom zipper closure. Insert not included.
