A striking silk brocade woman’s coat from late 19th-century Uzbekistan, featuring dramatic stylized botanical motifs in green, pink, and gold on a deep purple ground. The vibrant and dynamic textile design captures the visual opulence prized in urban elite dress of the period.

The interior is lined in silk on cotton ikat, offering an added layer of texture and craftsmanship. The edges are bordered with decorative woven tape that complements the rich surface patterning of the brocade.
